Manga Hokusai Manga - A guest exhibition of The Japan Foundation at the Museum of Ethnography
The traveling exhibition of The Japan Foundation at the Museum of Ethnography between April 24 and August 16, explores the work of ukiyo-e master Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) titled Hokusai Manga, which consists of thousands of drawings and is an exceptionally influential collection. Although the exhibition is a panel-based travelling show, visitors encounter not only reproductions but also original works.
