OKEIKO 45
There are several types of Nihonbuyo pieces named "Oimatsu". What you see here is the "Oimatsu" of the music genre called "Tokiwazu" (there are many kinds of traditional Japanese music such as Tokiwazu, Nagauta, Kiyomoto, and so on. But I would rahter explain this another time). It was composed in 1747, making it the oldest existing Tokiwazu song. This masterpiece has been performed continuously for a long time and is considered to be one of the representative works of "go-shūgi-mono ".
